I have long been thinking how best to express the combination of piece of clothing with the mesmerizing figure and shape the human body can take. This was a challenge, one that I found very stimulating and it turned out was the inspirational fuel I needed to complete this tapestry. The inspirational process took quite some time, as I was exploring different sizes and shapes of the textile pattern. The textile pattern also represents Lada, the model – its from his flannel shirt.

Dimensions of the work: height 204 cm, width 194 cm.
Woven in 2013 for the duration of 11 months.
