Blouse I.

This is the first tapestry in the series, it depicts diverse scenes of women in their daily lives. I personally know all the women in this series and sketched many drawings of them before making this tapestry. There is a young woman - a dance student in this tapestry. The tapestry torso refers to movement and its colours are deliberately reduced to a monolithic range of beige - gray colours to enhance the intensity of tapestry in its softness and flair.

Dimensions of the work: height 186 cm, width 140 cm.
Woven in 2017 for the duration of 9 months.
